Tips to design an open kitchen for a small space

I you have a small kitchen then its pretty obvious that the only function you can perform is cooking. So keep aside all your laundry work, writing, typing or anything like that.  Make sure you take out all unwanted accessories that do not fit in the kitchen except for those that can be used only for cooking.

Alternative storage-

To make space to move around you need to think about alternative storage. You can reduce the cabinets and make it more open and easily accessible. For example the pots and pans can be hung in the side, or from the top at a place you can reach. This was you don’t need boxy storage making your kitchen space claustrophobic for you.

Since your kitchen might be just one single room without many architectural variations, you need to try and do as much with the styling part of it. Mix the colors up or put in easily accessible sort of furniture. Colors are the one aspect that would help you makes your kitchen stand out and give it a bit of an edge.

Make the space yours-

As I said before it up to you to change the place. To do this you have to accept the space you have and work around it. Add a set of colors that you can work around to give your kitchen a unified look, also maybe you could keep a plant or two , small ones which don’t grow much.

Go bold with colors-

I know that we’ve spoken about colors a lot, but it just isn’t enough. If you have a problem figuring out which colors go together just look up the color wheel and pair the colors opposite to each other on the wheel. Go with bold colors that brighten up the room. It’s probably what you need first thing In the morning.
